A team from Canadian Embassy, CDF and Ethio Wetlands & Natural Resources Association – EWNRA has visited the 4R project sites in Minjar Shenkora district.

The team started the visit in Zewolde Kebele where farmers field day visit has taken place and joined by a numbers of model farmers. Members of the team from Canada Embassy, CDF and EWNRA had an interview with beneficiaries of the 4R projects in different categories like Fertilizer Nutrient Omission Trial, Women SACCO, Rural commercial group and a gender model family in Combolsha Kebele.

Mr. Garet and W/ro Selamawit from Canada Embassy in Addis Ababa, particularly from development consular, have appreciated the progresses made by the projects in Minjar Shenkora woreda where 4R – Nutrient Stewardship project is underway.

Ato Afework Hailu, Executive Director of EWNRA also expressed his gratitude for the beneficiaries and field staff members of EWNRA for their promising results of the project implementations.

Members of SACCO committee and some beneficiaries explained about their improvements since they joined the project and expressed their testimonials and gratitude to all project stakeholders particularly the government and Canada and EWNRA.

4R Nutrient Stewardship Project is funded by Canadian government through Global Affairs Canada (GAC) via CDF and being implemented by EWNRA since 2019.
