Second day monitoring visit conducted today in other Kebeles of Abaya district.
The team from both organizations (MfM CH and EWNRA) resumed the monitoring task that they started yesterday in many Kebeles and concluded the overall monitoring task in the afternoon with a feedback discussion among the whole staff in Abaya (Guangua coordination office)
In today’s visit different beneficiaries within the project packages like goat/shoat rearing and ox fattening, Enset seedling, area closure community, coffee seedling and the likes were visited and discussed with about their progresses.
Monitoring team appreciated most of the project implementation processes and the visible positive changes of the beneficiaries in numbers of communities. However in some cases minor issues like beneficiary selection inaccuracy and documentation qualities were commented by Menschen für Menschen Switzerland (MfM CH) team to be corrected as soon as possible. The hosting team of EWNRA accepted the feedbacks and promised to move quickly for even better achievements.
From EWNRA team members of the monitoring Mr. Afework Hailu (Executive Director) has expressed the gratitude for unwavering supports and regular follow ups from Menschen für Menschen Switzerland (MfM CH) Ethiopia office namely Mr Getachew Zewdu and Dr. Martin Gunder who tirelessly go through hardships and harsh weathers and landscapes to see what is done by the project in person which inspire the working staff.
