What is NGO source? NGO source, a project of the Council on Foundations and Tech Soup (both U.S. 501(c)(3) charities), helps U.S. grant makers streamline and save in their international giving. NGO source simplifies the task of evaluating whether a non-U.S. organization is the equivalent of a U.S. public charity — a process known as equivalency determination or “ED” – by making a complicated process easier and more efficient for both the U.S. grant maker and the non-U.S. grantee. NGO source currently operates as a program of Tech Soup Global.
