🌱Ethio Wetlands and Natural Resources Association (EWNRA) has successfully participated in the 2026 Annual Tree Planting Program held on August 3, 2026. The high-profile environmental campaign took place at Garra Gatira, located within the Tafo Sub-City of the Sheger City Administration. Organised by the PHE Ethiopia Consortium (PHE-EC), the event was executed in close collaboration with its member networks, development partners, and the Tafo Sub-City Administration.
As a premier civil society organisation specializing in community-based natural resource management, EWNRA has actively participated in these annual planting programs for years. The association’s continuous, long-term involvement ensures that restoration efforts are backed by decades of institutional expertise in forestry, soil conservation, and wetland management.
