Ethio Wetlands and Natural Resources Association (EWNRA) and Menschen für Menschen Switzerland honored with a certificate of appreciation for their efforts in providing clean drinking water facilities to various villages in the Hambella Wamena district of West Guji Zone, Oromia Region.
This recognition was awarded by the Regional State of Oromia in acknowledgment of the significant impact of MfM CH and EWNRA’s work in ensuring access to safe and reliable water sources for the local communities.
The commendation was officially presented during the inauguration ceremony of the newly completed Lega Jeru Spring Water Development Project in Haro Haya kebele. The event was attended by representatives from Menschen für Menschen Switzerland, which generously funded the project, as well as EWNRA’s team and a large gathering of community members who are set to benefit from the initiative.
The project, part of MfM CH and EWNRA’s ongoing commitment to improving water access, is a testament to the organization’s dedication to enhancing the livelihoods of residents in rural areas by addressing one of their most pressing needs—clean drinking water. The gratitude expressed through the certificate not only highlights EWNRA’s efforts but also reinforces the importance of continued collaboration between Menschen für Menschen Switzerland and EWNRA to drive sustainable development.
